He often uses basic color themes, but sometimes introduces full-color renderings to the urban areas that comprise his home range. \u201cThe Horned Lizard\u201d was created in 2014 after four grueling days in the desert sun, and now adorns the side of a large building on Stewart and North 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0in Downtown Las Vegas. It was originally created as part of the Life is Beautiful art festival in 2014.\r\n<h2>\u201cPeace Maker\u201d &#8212; by artist D*Face<\/h2>\r\nD*Face is a prolific urban artist and an associate of the world-renowned artist Banksy &#8211; both hailing from England and mired in the world of innovative street art. One large-scale piece that adorns the walls at 899 Fremont Street in Downtown Vegas is \u201cPeace Maker.\u201d This mural depicts the classic six-shooter with the barrel twisted out to spell the word \u201cpeace,\u201d and was created in 2015 in anticipation of the Life is\u00a0Beautiful\u00a0event of the same year.\r\n<h2>\u201cThe Maser Motel\u201d\u00a0&#8212; by artist Maser<\/h2>\r\nBorn in Dublin and now working in the USA, Maser became one of Ireland\u2019s leading creative types in the mid-late 1990\u2019s. His artwork emphasizes geometric shapes and simplicity of form, and one of his masterpieces can now be seen at the former Town Lodge Motel in Downtown Las Vegas &#8211; now reimagined as the\u00a0<em>Maser Motel<\/em>. Maser spent 8 days transforming the walls of the Town Lodge Motel into his vision of artistic perfection. It was created just in time for the Life is Beautiful Event in 2014, and can be seen at 225 North 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0street in Vegas.\r\n<h2><strong>\u201cCorner\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>&#8212; by artist Borondo<\/h2>\r\nSpanish muralist Gonzalo Borondo creates massive murals that are innovative and tend to meld within the confines of the surrounding urban landscape. According to Borondo,\u00a0<em>\u201cI focus on the public space, I feel the environment, I am always looking at reality. It is there, outside, not here on the canvas or in the gallery, it is outside.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>Borondo created \u201cCorner\u201d in 2014 and it represents a compelling version of\u00a0anamorphic\u00a0artwork, in which art must be viewed at a specific angle and vantage point to bring the work to life. It can now be seen in downtown Vegas where it occupies one entire side of a massive parking structure.\r\n\r\nThese street art examples are an integral part of a larger event known as the Life is Beautiful Festival (LIB), held annually in Downtown Las Vegas.
